no, seriously. i just finished up watching the third Dream Live concert, one of the more emotional ones mainly because it's the graduation of the second Seigaku cast, my favorite cast so far.  (I mentioned this last entry, too.)

Today is indeed the beloved buchou's birthday--24th birthday to be exact, by my reckoning.  The manga was started in 1999, and he is 14; ergo, he is 24 in 2009, precisely ten years after the manga was started.  Whew, ten years, and TeniPuri is still as popular as it was when it first appeared.  Anyway, that makes his birthdate October 7, 1985.

i am literally in the middle of watching the live-action of The Prince of Tennis when Veoh decides to stop loading it.  >_>  I was displeased.  So i am downloading it as i type this, and to pass the time, i'll write about what I think about it so far.  Hmmm, i'll start with the bad and then finish on a good note.

So roughly a month and a half ago, i started watching Prince of Tennis as i said.  Also to restate, i didn't think i would like it nearly as much as I actually do.  I had planned on watching the final PoT "thing" available, the live-action movie, tonight.  That being said, I am not so sure I am ready to let my beloved princes of tennis go just yet ( Read more... )

Well, I finished it--Prince of Tennis: the National Tournament OVA.  As a whole, i thoroughly enjoyed it.  As i expected, they won.  (Duh.)

only a couple things that irked me at the end.

Firstly, the 'epilogue,' as it were, was told through a letter Sakuno writes to Ryoma--when he's in America.  WTF was up with that?  Did  miss that the Echizens ( Read more... )
